Management Joint Lecture
The Undergraduate Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, again held the "Management Joint Lecture" (4th series), which brought in three practitioners, and one of them joined the existing subjects in the FEB Udayana Undergraduate Management Study Program.
On Monday, November 27, 2023, the Management Study Program presented a practitioner lecturer, Mrs. Ida Ayu Dewi Rossyani, as Territory Sales Manager of PT XL Axiata Tbk.
This activity was carried out in the Marketing Communication class taught by Mrs. Ni Made Purnami, S.E., M.M., with the title "Optimization of Digital Marketing for Today's Business."
The discussion that was presented was about the importance of digital marketing in the current era, digital marketing has reached all levels of society. The process of digital marketing is starting from using, evaluating, searching, making decisions, to making purchases. One of the success factors in digital promotion is to be the first, best and different from others. Influencers have a role in digital promotion, because of their creativity in marketing a product compared to those previously known by the public. This can attract attention and increase interest in purchasing decisions. The class was more interesting supported by various questions from students. Lectures by inviting practitioner lecturers provide additional broad insights related to practice in the field so that students can prepare themselves or learn what the digital marketing process is like in a company.
