Coordinating Study Program Bachelor of Management FEB UNUD Wins the Best Paper Title in 2022

The Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University had the opportunity to become the Co-Host of The Global Advance Research Conference on Management and Business Studies (GARCOMBS) on Saturday (19/11) at the Ballroom of the Savoy Homann Hotel Bandung. At this year's event, the forum which brought together international academics to present the latest studies and research results in the management and business fields raised the theme "Rethinking and Creating Resilience to Enhance Industry and Business Sustainability".

GARCOMBS 2022, which was held by the Doctor of Management Study Program (DIM) Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Padjadjaran University (Unpad) with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University as the Co-Host, featured Dr. Dian Ediana Rae (Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority - OJK), Dr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, M.Si. (Minister of Industry), and Prof. Dr. Peter Mayer (Professor International Economics at the Osnabruck University of Applied Science, Germany) as Keynote Speaker. The activity was also filled by Plenary Speakers including Dr. Thuy Chung Phan (Deputy Dean of School of Banking University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam), and Bjarne Lykke Sorensen, Ph.D (CEO of Siemens Denmark). The activity was held thanks to a collaboration between Padjadjaran University and the Ministry of Industry, BSI, PT LEN, PT PII, Telkomsel, OJK, Mitratel, PT Pindad, Bank BJB, FEB Udayana University, and Pasundan University.

Hundreds of academics from seven countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand and others are involved in the international conference The Global Advance Research Conference on Management and Business Studies (Garcombs) 2022 which was held in a hybrid manner from the Savoy Homann Hotel, Bandung City, Friday (18/11 ) /2022).

Coordinator of the Undergraduate Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University Mr. Dr. I Made Artha Wibawa, S.E., M.M, won the Best Paper title at the event. At this Conference, no less than 112 papers were discussed in a marathon over three days, starting from 17-19 November 2022.

Through this conference, the presenters had a number of publication opportunities in Scopus and SINTA indexed journals, which among others lost to the International Journal of Services, Economics, and Management - IJSEM (Q3), Gadjah Mada International Journal of Business - GAMAIJB (Q3) Malaysian Journal of Consumer and Family Economics - MAJCAFE (Q4).

"Through this activity, we hope to contribute to the development of science and education in the country," said Chairperson of Garcombs Yulistyne Kasumaningrum. The Global Advance Research Conference on Management and Business Studies (Garcombs) international conference ended with the awarding of certificates to the winners, followed by a group photo session at the Bandung Mayor's Hall.
